Taupe Butterflies

 I was inspired whilst out walking one sunny day
by small taupe coloured butterflies.
I instantly envisaged a wallhanging made from Japanese taupes. But butterflies are usually bright -
would it work? I think it has! I love it!
This attractive wall hanging is easily made with bonded applique. The butterfly blocks would be great to use for cushions or even placemats.
