This is the second quilt that I have made with a
Jelly Roll - (Jelly rolls are 2 ½” x 44” strips of co-ordinating fabric from a particular range of fabrics . There are lots of different ones available with new ones added monthly.
The one I used for my quilt is quite an old one called Chelsea Boutique (by Moda fabrics.)
For this quilt I chose to design a foundation pieced block which is repeated throughout just using different colour combinations. I purchased two other fabrics to use as constants within the blocks - Pale pink for the centre & outer  triangles and a deep rich red which I used as a narrow accent strip around each band.
Finished size of quilt shown 37" x 58" but this only contains 44 blocks where a jelly roll will give you 80 blocks so you can make the centre of a large quilt & add borders.
