CAFE RACER
Designing this Motorbike cushion for my partner was fun. Bikes are his passion as Patchwork is mine. We went to the Isle of Mann TT for a second time this year and I really enjoyed looking at all the variations of bikes - more from the design aspect rather than how fast they could go!! I decided on an old iconic style bike for this cushion and I’ve even reduced the pattern and appliqued them onto sweatshirts which I happily wear. The background was a challenge as I wanted it rustic looking - sort of an old wooden shed feeling!!! This worked out just great. I may even use the idea on other applique panels. Finished size 18” x 16” cushion or wall hanging. Pattern also reduced for sweat shirt.
